Lap-Sit Story Time (birth to 24 months)
Lap Sit Story Time is a fun, interactive language enrichment program led by former kindergarten teacher Penny Slingerland. Lap Sit features songs, rhymes, finger plays, and stories for infants accompanied by an adult caregiver and takes place most Tuesdays at 10:30am*.
Preschool Story Time
Story hour for preschoolers will be held most Wednesday mornings at 10:30 for children ages 2 to 5. Each session will include storytelling as well as crafts, games, songs, and finger plays.It's a great chance for the kids and their grown-ups to make new friends--as well as to lay the groundwork for a lifelong love of reading.
* Please check our Calendar for our most up-to-date schedule. The library follows the Red Hook School District calendar and inclement weather schedule. If there is no school due to a holiday, or if school is canceled or delayed due to inclement weather there will be NO Story Time that day.
